How do you remove (not hide) a custom toolbar?

I created a toolbar, found I could not add bookmarks to it. (My itent was to have all bookmarks related to one topic/project on one toolbar.)

Now I want to be rid of this mistaken toolbar; hiding it still leaves it forever on the list of toolbars accessed from the "view" menu.

Do consider modifying the Help item on this topic. It misleads by stating it will tell you how to delete a custom toolbar; in fact it only tells you to 'hide' it.

Just remove all items from the custom toolbar. It will be go away as soon as you click Done in Customize Toolbars window. Filed a bug to fix the help documentation [1] --asqueella 04:35, 4 October 2005 (PDT)
