Talk:Mail.db timestamp leeway

I can't find any mention of this setting in Thunderbird 1.5's config editor or by searching all of the files in the thunderbird program directory. The only file in my Thunderbird profile directory that contains the substring "leeway" is the dictionary.
I'd normally expect the default value of 5 to be in greprefs\all.js or defaults\pref\mailnews.js. Can somebody justify the statement that it exists in all versions of Thunderbird and defaults to 5 in Thunderbird 1.5? Especially since http://kb.mozillazine.org/Daylight_savings_time was modified to claim you can fix the problem by changing that setting. Tanstaafl 19:54, 12 April 2006 (UTC)
- My mistake; I read a comment in Bugzilla as the default value without inspecting the code more carefully. The setting is, however, definitely read if it’s defined. --Unarmed 20:18, 12 April 2006 (UTC)
