Suddenly several days ago, my inbox stopped being receptive to new messages, even though I had no problem sending e-mail.  I had to go to my ISP's web site to view my mail.  Then, unexpectedly, on three occasions since then, my messages would arrive.  I had set it so that whenever I opened Thunderbird, my messages would automatically be retrieved and then while open, every 10 minutes, but this has not been the case.  In fact, often, there are no messages visible from my inbox for up to 20 minutes.  Also, I noticed that I am now having problems moving or deleting messages from my inbox.  I know of nothing I've done to make any of this happen and I am still able to access the Internet fine.  The tech support at my ISP said it was definitely a Thunderbird issue.  Anyone have a clue as to what I can do without losing my current contents of folders, messages and address book listings?
