Background

In Firefox 3, the Software Update feature has two ways to notify the user of an available update: a small notification/alert that pops up, and the full-blown Software Update dialog box. This preference determines how long to wait after displaying the unobtrusive alert before showing the full Software Update dialog.

Possible values and their effects

The number of seconds to wait after displaying the unobtrusive alert before the full Update Checking/Ready UI is shown (Default: 43200, or 12 hours)
