Talk:Dev : Tips

This page is currently redundant imo. There are only two "General development tips" here (Dev_:_Useful_prefs and Dev_:_Tips_:_Disable_XUL_cache), and they do not deserve a special page, imo they should just be linked from both Dev : Themes and Dev : Extensions. The JS stuff should definitely moved to extensions, as Dev : Extensions de-facto contains all XUL/JS stuff we have. (As an alternative we can have a "JavaScript Central" page, say Dev : JS). I agree. I doubt there are going to be many more general-purpose tips than these. It could be argued that there is a lot of sample Javascript code and many techniques that apply to general Moz development and not just to extensions development, but for now I think that it should all be placed under Extensions. The distinction can be made clearer in the future when there are more such resources published. Mozcerize 16:36, 12 Nov 2004 (PST)
