Background

Firefox 3’s Download Manager allows downloads to be paused and resumed across browser sessions. This also allows downloads to be paused automatically when the computer goes to sleep. After waiting a while to allow network connectivity to be re-established, downloads will automatically resume. This preference determines how long to wait before resuming paused downloads.

Possible values and their effects

An integer determining how long to wait in milliseconds after the computer “wakes” from sleep mode before resuming paused downloads. Default is 10000 (10 seconds).
