Background

A link to Firefox’s release notes is available via the Help → About dialog as of Firefox 2.0; in SeaMonkey, it’s available from Help → About as well as Mail’s start screen. This preference specifies where the link goes.

Possible values and their effects

The URL for the application’s current release notes. Default value is http://%LOCALE%.www.mozilla.com/%LOCALE%/%APP%/%VERSION%/releasenotes/ in official Firefox builds; http://www.mozilla.org/projects/%APP%/%VERSION%/releasenotes/ in unofficial Firefox builds; and http://www.mozilla.org/projects/seamonkey/releases/seamonkey%VERSION%/ in SeaMonkey.
