You can view your browsing history in Firefox by opening the History sidebar. Here, you can sort the list of of visited pages by Date and Site, by Site, by Date, by Most Visited, or by Last Visited.
Opening the History sidebar
- In the Firefox menu, click on View.
- Select Sidebar and click on History.
You can customize the toolbar by adding a History button, so that you can open the History sidebar with one click.
Note: In Firefox 2, you can also open the History sidebar by selecting "Show in Sidebar" from the History menu. [1]
Changing the sort order
To change the sort order, open the History sidebar and click on View (to the right of the Search box). A drop-down menu will open with the sort options listed, as shown above in Firefox 3 ("By Date and Site" will be at the top of the list).
