Hints and Tips
General
- When something's amiss, create a new profile.
- Try new Extensions; you'll be surprised. Another Source for extensions.
- Try a new Theme; make your program look better. Another Source for themes.
- Check out the keyboard shortcuts for Thunderbird.
- Launch Thunderbird using command line options (list is for the Mozilla Suite; not all options work with Thunderbird).
Fine-Tuning
- Change the order of accounts in the folders pane.
- Change the fonts used in the folders pane, message-list pane, and menus.
- Change the background color in the preview pane and other panes.
- Disable HTML in incoming mail.
- In the message list, display date and time always or change the date format.
