300 doesn't work

Just read https://blog.fastmail.fm/2011/06/28/http-keep-alive-connection-timeouts/ and then came here after looking at my Firefox prefs. I'm about to correct an inaccuracy: the page says the default is 300, but actually, it's 115, at least in the current release version of FF. I wonder if there's a bug (tagged for Chrome parity) to enable SO_KEEPALIVE, as the linked bugfix did (using the Chrome code change as a guide). -Elvey 19:11, 28 September 2011 (UTC)
