Thunderbird 2.x has a mozMapi32.dll file in its program directory. Shredder (the upcoming Thunderbird 3.0 release) has both it and a mozMapi32_InUse.dll file. Anybody know what the extra file does (what feature does it add)? Perhaps to help work around installation problems due to Logitech webcams locking the Mapi32.dll file? I don't have a webcam so I can't experiment to see if it has any effect.

https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=482966 is the only documentation I can find that mentions it and basically all it says is that "mozMapi32.dll and mozMapi32_InUse.dll can't be registered with regsvr32 and the registry entries for mozMapi32_InUse.dll are added via the installer."
