Linking to here?

Would it be an idea to link something like this browser.urlbar.match.(filter) and browser.urlbar.restrict.(filter) to this article?

I linked the appropriate about:config entries approx. 24h before you posted this comment. I suppose that this content page is description enough, and that the individual preferences don't need individual pages, or at most only redirects to here. --Tony 00:52, 24 September 2009 (UTC)
Yes, Ive noticed that from the 'Recent changes' page, but the about:config article is getting so large that I do not want to link to it if there are other options available. --Dickvl 01:12, 24 September 2009 (UTC)
The About:config entries article may be large, but it is a central place where info about most preferences can be found, including those which don't rate their own article and therefore aren't listed under Category:Preferences. IMHO it should be kept and even expanded with info about the existing prefs which it doesn't yet list. Also, I wan't talking about linking to it but linking from it; and I meant that IMHO there's no need for a separate article (other than a redirect) about each of the prefs listed here in Location Bar search. As for linking from elsewhere to where these prefs are described, of course it should be to here (or, if we go that way, to redirect pages linking to here). --Tony 03:17, 24 September 2009 (UTC)

Just an idea but you could create a redirect for each of the related preferences to this article, which you could categorize so that it appears in the Category:Preferences listing but actually links here. For example, you could create an "article" for browser.urlbar.match.title with the only content being: #Redirect [[Location Bar search]] [[Category:Preferences]] Alice 11:20, 24 September 2009 (UTC)

OK, done. --Tony 00:39, 25 September 2009 (UTC)
