I am merely a lurker on this site. However have updated the page after a wonderful experience. After no luck at all migrating from Eudora to Thunderbird on WinXP using any Windows tools listed, I found a (kludge) solution that worked. I exported my Windows Eudora directory to a Mac, used "Eudora Mailbox Cleaner" (following the instructions) on the Mac and then exported the result back to Thunderbird on the Windows box. This article needs updating with regard to import problems like when data is not in standard location, or when eudora is not installed. I'll do a little cleanup, but probable more is needed. Related info: | |||

I removed the instructions for Eudora Rescue since there's already an excellent README on the product website. Sorry I forgot to include this in the Summary field. --hao2lian
