Talk:Getting started with Thunderbird
From MozillaZine Knowledge Base
"* Email scam detection does not learn when you click the "Not a scam" button, and adding a sender to your address book does not white list them. It is too flawed and incomplete to be useful. Its recommended that you disable it using Tools -> Options -> Security -> Email Scams." Really? This is the first time I've ever seen such a claim that it should be disabled.
The current links are to parts of a Thunderbird 1.5beta tutorial from opensourcearticles.com. Any objection to my removing that and relying mainly on the FLOSS, "security in a box" and freeemailtutorials tutorials plus links to a few KB articles? Tanstaafl 10:32, 27 June 2011 (UTC)
