This page needs some cleanup. It needs an intro (is this meant to be a list of all extensions?). What is the purpose of the values in the cells? Is a table really the best way to present this info? It should also follow article naming conventions.--Np 17:40, 13 May 2006 (UTC)

Ok, made some changes:

  • Renamed from "Calendar:SunbirdLightningCalendarExtensions" to "Calendaring Extensions Index (Sunbird, Lightning, CalExt)" to better follow article naming conventions
    • Issue: name still unsatisfactory, it currently does not clearly describe that this page indexes extensions to calendaring products, not extensions which are calendaring products.
  • Added intro describing use of table.
  • Added background describing situtation giving rise to desire for this table.

That's better... But I didn't mean you had to explain the table in the article, I was just asking general questions about whether it was needed and how the formatting works. Other than that, the only issue I'd have is that each sentence doesn't need its own paragraph. Just succintly describe what you're doing, don't repeat yourself, and don't say obvious things. As for the article name, what about something simple like "Extensions for Sunbird, Lightning, and CalExt"?--Np 01:27, 15 May 2006 (UTC)

Using Firefox 2.x half of the article is unreadable unless I close the bookmark pane. Its not clear why a history of ancient versions is useful. Pruning it would solve the display problem. Given that three sections don't list the items as supporting recent Lightning or Sunbird versions I suggest you consider dropping the version history from the table and simply list the latest version of Lightning or Sunbird that supports it.

The list of experimental themes doesn't seem useful to a Lightning user. Experimental Window Management Add-ons lists MinimizeToTray as supported by both Sunbird and Lightning but the add-on page says its only for Sunbird. The link for Calendar Item Dialog , Attendees Dialog , and Duration Replacing End is broken. The link for Lightning Multiweek View points to a page that doesn't have it. The link for AutoExport ICS points to the German version of the web page.

I had to do some searching to find out what CalExt (CE) was. Why is a experimental version of a integrated calendar for SeaMonkey treated as a peer given how little support there is for it? Why not provide its own section if its worth mentoning? Google groups thread about FOSDEM talk slides mentions that Lightning is supported by SeaMonkey SuiteRunner. Does that means Lightning works with SeaMonkey 2.0?

I suggest you rename this article something simpler and generic such as Index of Calendar Add-ons. The convention you're trying to follow was not meant to identify that an article applies to multiple applications. Tanstaafl 20:48, 15 July 2007 (UTC)
