A powerful, standalone, standards-based calendar

Sunbird is still in the early stages of development. Although it is quite stable, it is recommended for testing purposes only.

Preview builds are made available periodically (usually every month or so), which can be downloaded from the Sunbird Project's web pages. Nightly builds will likely be available in the future.

Developers interested in the project can follow progress on mozilla's usenet server at news://news.mozilla.org/netscape.public.mozilla.calendar or chat at irc://irc.mozilla.org/calendar

Sunbird is a rewrite of Mozilla Calendar as a standalone application. If you prefer to install a calendar application/extension into Firefox, Thunderbird or the Mozilla Application Suite (rather than have a separate application), you might want to download Mozilla Calendar instead.
