* :Category:ContextMenu_Extensions_script and friends. ContextMenu Extensions is an extension that last worked in Phoenix 0.5 and Mozilla 1.0. Any info on it and any scripts for it are long past their usefulness date.--Np 18:28, 23 January 2007 (UTC)

: Delete the category.  The  only articles it includes are CMEScript:Anonymize and CMEScript:Edit wiki, both of which refer back to the ContextMenu_Extensions article, which is in the :Category:Extensions (Firefox). The two CMEScript articles could be merged with the ContextMenu_Extensions article, if it is still useful. Alice Wyman 21:38, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
: If the author didn't even bother to update the URL to one that says that the extension still works, I would guess that it's all out of date.--Np 22:34, 24 January 2007 (UTC)

These articles are empty, and seem like they were outdated marketing fluff. I can understand links to promotional materials such as buttons etc. at http://wiki.mozilla.org/Marketing:Firefox_Materials but not this type of article. Didn't we try to get rid of these articles beforehand? I noticed them only because somebody created a marketing category and assigned them to it. Tanstaafl 00:55, 10 January 2007 (UTC)

http://kb.mozillazine.org/Category:Marketing - It links to two empty articles plus one of the material projects. If we need to provide links to sites such as Firefox materials, Thunderbird materials, Sunbird materials etc. I think a better solution would be to have a single article called Marketing that points to each applications material web site plus community web sites such as http://www.spreadfirefox.com/ . My concern is that this category is going to become a haven for all sorts of outdated marketing fluff. Let the web sites that specialize in marketing do all of the marketing.

I noticed we also have a Firefox_Materials , Seamonkey_Materials , Thunderbird_Materials , Sunbird_Materials, Camino_Materials and Mozilla_Materials article each of which has no (real) category and is redirected to http://mozilla.wikia.com/wiki/Marketing:Mozilla_Materials . That seems like the only people who could find those articles already know how to find the web site, so its not clear what purpose they serve. I suggest they be deleted too. If thats not acceptable it would seem to make more sense to rename Firefox_Materials to Firefox Marketing and add it to Category:Firefox etc. so that somebody who doesn't know the magic word (materials) could either stumble across it when browsing the Firefox articles or find it via searching for marketing. I vote to delete the Category:Marketing (just created a few days ago by User:Ottodv). All the "Materials" articles you mentioned redirect to the Mozilla Community Wiki article, which simply says, Mozilla Materials projects have moved to Mozilla Community Wiki. Another idea would be to rename Mozilla Community Wiki to "Mozilla Marketing" and add that article to the top-level category, instead of adding new articles to the Firefox, Thunderbird, etc., categories.
