Your bookmarks are stored in the file bookmarks.html in your profile folder (see the linked articles for details).

In the very unfortunate event that your bookmarks are lost, you will not be able to restore them unless you have backup. You may try to reclaim some of them from your browsing history; open the History window (go menu, history), right click (option click on Mac OS) on the Web address you want to bookmark, and choose Bookmark this Link. To prevent this from happening, we advise you to back up your profile periodically or, at the minimum, export your bookmarks to a backup location using the the Bookmarks Manager "Export" tool.
