I'm not suggesting a duplicate "about" link be added in a more noticeable location. I'm suggesting a meaningfull sentence be added somewhere in the couple of paragraphs at the top of the page that points to the same web page, since it has usefull information.  +:Yes, it is hard to spot, especially since there are so many links in that top section on the main page. Maybe the thing to do would be to simply replace the last 4 sentences of the opening section (which now contain 5 separate kb links - rules, formatting, etc.) with a single sentence that says something like "Be sure to read about [[MozillaZine Knowledge Base:About | what the Knowledge Base is about and how you can get started editing]]." It would make for a simple gateway into kb, and the About article now has all the other links that people need anyway. --[[User:Wintogreen|wintogreen]] 18:13, 23 January 2006 (UTC)

The link to the about page for the knowledge base is hard to spot unless you're explicitly looking for it. I read the main page numerous times without ever noticing it, possibly because I had no reason to expect that it had any usefull information. It was only when I happened to notice in the list of recent changes that it has been edited that I took a look at it.
