The link to the about page for the knowledge base is hard to spot unless you're explicitly looking for it. I read the main page numerous times without ever noticing it, possibly because I had no reason to expect that it had any usefull information. I'm not suggesting a duplicate "about" link be added in a more noticeable location. I'm suggesting a meaningfull sentence be added somewhere in the couple of paragraphs at the top of the page that points to the same web page, since it has usefull information. The link to the about page for the knowledge base is hard to spot unless you're explicitly looking for it. I read the main page numerous times without ever noticing it, possibly because I had no reason to expect that it had any usefull information. It was only when I happened to notice in the list of recent changes that it has been edited that I took a look at it.
