| * A: They are now known as Firefox. Originally called Phoenix, the light weight browser brother of the Mozilla suite had to change its name and after many suggestions the Firebird name was chosen. There existed however an open source database called Firebird and to avoid confusion the Mozilla Firebird name was dropped and the browser was renamed Firefox.
