Windows	Download the Macromedia Flash Player Installer, and install it. Installation Issues on Windows The Macromedia Flash Player installer doesn't list my browser! Mozilla stores information in the Windows registry, which is used by plugin installers to locate your Mozilla installation directory. If this information does not exist, or is incomplete or incorrect, the Macromedia Flash Player installer may not be able to find your browser. If your browser is not shown in the list of available browsers, you can manually select your browser plugins directory by clicking on "Other Browser" and browsing to it. Note that this will not install scripting support. Why doesn't the Macromedia Flash Player installer install scripting support? The Macromedia Flash Player installer does not install the scripting support file (flashplayer.xpt) for undetected browsers. On some systems, it does not install it for Mozilla Firefox either. This is a known issue with the installer, which Macromedia may fix in a future release.
Linux	Download Macromedia Flash Player 6. Packages are available for many distributions. Once downloaded, copy libflashplayer.so and flashplayer.xpt to your browser's plugins directory.
MacOS	Download and run the Macromedia Flash Player Installer. Download: [MacOS 9.x] [MacOS X]
Solaris	Macromedia Flash Player 6.0r81 is now available for Solaris on both Sparc and x86. To install it, copy libflashplayer.so and flashplayer.xpt to your browser's plugins directory. Download: [Solaris (Sparc)] [Solaris (x86)]
OS/2 Warp	Macromedia Flash Player for OS/2 Warp is available from InnoTek Systemberatung GmbH. To install it, launch the installer and follow the instructions. Note: Macromedia Flash Player for OS/2 is not free. Licenses cost 20 euro plus applicable taxes at the time of writing, and are available at the Mensys Online Shop.
