Extensions enhance the functionality of Firefox. They can block ads, add chat client, save your last session, and add various tabbed browsing functions to name a few.
Where to get extensions
You can find Firefox extensions at:
- Mozilla Update - the official source for extensions.
- The Extensions Mirror - the largest and most up-to-date collection of extensions.
- Extension Room
- Individual authors' sites:
- Extensions forum at MozillaZine: a good place to get a glimpse of new extensions being developed, or to try out new extensions before they become available at the sites listed above.
