- This article was written for Thunderbird but also applies to Mozilla Suite / SeaMonkey (though some menu sequences may differ).
The EditHTML extension lets you edit the source of an HTML message that you are composing.
Another way to do that is:
- Highlight the contents of the existing message ("Ctrl+A" or "Edit -> Select All").
- Select "Insert -> HTML".
- Edit the code as desired.
- Press "Insert".
If Thunderbird's built-in support for HTML editing doesn't meet your needs you could install the External editor extension and use an external editor.
