Background
In Firefox 3, the built-in help viewer was removed. The “Help → Help Contents” menu item and pressing [F1] now direct the user to online help instead. This preference determines which URL to visit for help.
Possible values and their effects
The URL to visit when a user triggers the built-in help function. Default value is https://support.mozilla.com/1/%APP%/%VERSION%/%OS%/%LOCALE%/, where %APP%
, %VERSION%
, %OS%
, and %LOCALE%
are replaced with “firefox”, the current browser version, the user’s OS, and the value of general.useragent.locale, respectively.
