There was an enquiry a while back about what are the ten most frequent support issues. Why not designate someone to continually maintain that page?

I'm sure Chris was speaking about the forum thread started by Asa but I don't see why we couldn't keep this page current and categorize it under Firefox Issues. We could link to specific topics on the forums if a current KB article doesn't exist, just like we do on the Issues with Firefox page. Just a thought. Alice Wyman 00:48, 16 December 2006 (UTC)

P.S. I removed editors' names and some comments about where to post replies which is out-of-place if we are going to revive this page as an "issues" article. Alice Wyman 01:18, 16 December 2006 (UTC)

I don't see why we'd need a separate article for this. It should probably be up-front because it'd be very useful for users. Perhaps on Issues with Firefox? The only problem I see with the idea is that we don't know which topics are the top 10, so it'll be opinion rather than facts.--Np 03:41, 16 December 2006 (UTC)
You're right, I had second thoughts after I added the suggestion. In fact, I later replied to Chris in the forum topic, But, why maintain that page when the Firefox support forum already includes this Announcement pinned to the top of the forum: http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?t=106431 INSTANT HELP — Frequently Asked Questions The Issues with Firefox article already includes a "General" section at the top, which basically contains the top support issues. I could change the heading to "Top support issues" or just leave as is. I guess I was just trying to come up with a use for this uncategorized article. If it's no longer useful maybe it should be nominated for deletion by the original author or by a SysOp (I don't feel comfortable doing that, myself). Alice Wyman 11:38, 16 December 2006 (UTC)
