I moved the talk help to Talk. Informational pages, such as those about how to use the wiki, shouldn't be conducted in the Talk namespace (which is where this article is), but in the main namespace. Product comparison links

I added an "External links" section with two Wikipedia articles (Wikipedia: Comparison of web browsers and Wikipedia: Comparison of e-mail clients) then redirected the "Product comparison matrix" article to this one, as discussed here. Alice Wyman 15:53, 5 September 2006 (UTC)

Gecko icon

I notice the image used for the Gecko icon seems to be 404. I found this logo at the MozillaZine site. Should we upload a scaled version of the image to the wiki and use it? -- schapel 17:15, 7 December 2006 (UTC)

I can see the icon. Does anybody else not see it? I guess it would make most sense if the icons were hosted on MZ or mozilla.org. If somebody has some contacts... The image I used is originally from http://www.caminobrowser.org/images/features/features_gecko.jpg and then there's http://developer.mozilla.org/wiki-images/en/3/3e/netscape-gecko-logo.jpg which is the one you found. I couldn't tell which logo is the right one as both sites seem quite legit... --FatJohn 19:02, 8 December 2006 (UTC)

Image location

Re: I guess it would make most sense if the icons were hosted on MZ or mozilla.org. If somebody has some contacts... Uploading images to Imageshack and linking there is OK, I guess, but it would be better if we could upload images to mozillazine.org. Np mentions on his user page under KB wishlist: Image uploading for screenshots Likely just a configuration kerz turned off. Limiting it to a certain size and only images is OK.. I don't know if Np discussed it with kerz but you could ask, I guess, or bring it up on the Knowledge Base changes page. If mozillazine.org has space for all these avatars I don't see why we can't upload some images for the KB articles. Alice Wyman 21:24, 8 December 2006 (UTC)

The "Upload file" feature has just been enabled (see Knowledge_Base_changes#Upload_file_enabled) so I uploaded all the images for this article to kb.mozillazine.org and replaced all the old image links with the new ones. Alice Wyman 00:14, 28 December 2006 (UTC)
