[edit] New rapid releasesSoftware_update#Configuring_Software_Update will need some substantial rewrite given that the update channels now relate to nightly/aurora/beta/release and whatever version is currently coming from there. Looking at the Firefox nightly site, there are regular builds for "nightly" and "aurora", but not for "beta" for example. So, if I'm on the "beta" channel, will an automated update come when the candidate builds are pushed (which is what currently happens with stable release branches), or does it mean that one gets an update when an actual beta is officially released? Or, maybe that's the same now anyway? I see at least an "auroratest" channel being present, which appears to be the counterpart to the "betatest" channel for advance candidate builds. It keeps being confusing, but hopefully will get clearer after a couple of cycles. --Rsx11m 23:12, 17 June 2011 (UTC)
