Has anybody verified whether purge logging (MsgPurge) works, and if it applies to just the junk mail folders or to all folders? See http://www.mozilla.org/mailnews/arch/spam/purge.html Tanstaafl 07:37, 22 August 2007 (UTC)

The "Using Thunderbird" section states: "Use log level 5, and remember to specify POP3:5, IMAP:5, SMTP:5, NNTP:5, nsHttp:5, MIME:5 or LDAP:5, depending on which type of server or protocol you are investigating. (The module nsHttp is not mentioned on the linked page.)"

I can find NSPR information on HTTP logging (nsHTTP), Cookie logging (cookie), Javascript logging (JSDiagnostics) but none on MIME logging. When I modify a (working) batch file that enables IMAP logging to do MIME logging it creates a empty log file. Does MIME logging exist?

I discovered that you can enable logging of all modules using NSPR_LOG_MODULES=all:5. I couldn't identify anything in the log file that looked like it was logging how it parsed the message body into MIME sections etc.

Where is there a list of all log modules have logging enabled? Tanstaafl 06:20, 1 October 2008 (UTC)
