Talk:RealPlayerFrom MozillaZine Knowledge Base[edit] RealPlayer 10.5I log on to a Radio Station website (www.wave105.com) which allows you to listen online using RealPlayer or Windows Media Player. I prefer RealPlayer (I use version 10.5) as I find the streaming audio is more reliable than WMP. However when I click on the RealPlayer link on the Wave105 website I get a message saying a plugin is required, when I click the link to download the plugin it reports that a suitable plugin is not available. If I log on to the website using IE I don't get the same problem!
Does anyone have any idea what the problem might be that prevents the use of RealPlayer? I'm trying to get to the MIT Lecture Search project ... which uses RealAudio. (I'm guessing SMIL.) Using FF2.0.0.11 I get crashes.
[edit] Removing outdated RP10.5 Modified Plugin info and linksI removed the RP 10.5 Modified Plugin testing and download bad links and the link to the outdated MozillaZine "Guide" forum post, based on feedback here. Alice 18:25, 27 November 2008 (UTC) |
