Talk:OCSP error when accessing secure sitesFrom MozillaZine Knowledge BaseThis article was split from SSL is disabled (26 June 2007 Np). The following is copied from Talk:SSL_is_disabled#OCSP for ducumentation. Alice 12:20, 7 September 2009 (UTC) Should we be telling everyone to turn off OCSP? From what I've read of bug reports, having OCSP enabled will only cause errors when you go to certain sites who have set up OCSP wrong, or if the OCSP service isn't working. I think we should say something along the lines of if they frequently get the error on a certain site, they can turn it off, but not suggest turning it off to solve other problems.--Np 18:11, 11 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] ThunderbirdCan this really not happen to Thunderbird? If so, I don't understand how this could not happen but other SSL-relating things couldn't. I figured it could happen if you were subscribed to a feed for https, for example.--Np 19:44, 26 June 2007 (UTC) |
