Talk:New user tips:thunderbird

From MozillaZine Knowledge Base

This article doesn't seem to be useful, and seems redundant given Getting_started_with_Thunderbird and Keep_it_working_-_Thunderbird . Gunnars tutorial is already linked in the Getting Started article.

By the way, the convention is to use "- Thunderbird" as a suffix, not ": Thunderbird" when there are separate versions of an article for multiple applications.

I've nominated the article for deletion. If there is some critical missing information for new users it should be added as a paragraph in the Getting Started article, like we did for leaving messages on the server. We replaced two of the sections of the OSA tutorial with links to KB articles. There is no reason why we couldn't add a link to another article in Getting Started to address another topic (though it should be for a specific task, not yet another getting started overview). I've redirected this article to Getting started with Thunderbird since it's been so long since it was nominated for deletion. See [[1]] Alice 10:46, 9 February 2009 (UTC)
