From MozillaZine Knowledge Base

I'm running XP Home and have just had a reset occur as well as a prior one abut 3 months ago. The prgram reverts as though it were a new install. There are the default bookmarks and password files. The download folder reverts to Desktop, etc. This is a major instability not found in other browsers. Is anybody working on this? Just saying sorry doesn't really solve the problem.
