Talk:ForwardFrom MozillaZine Knowledge BaseSee http://kb.mozillazine.org/Knowledge_Base_changes#Extension_listings_in_the_Knowledge_Base We never came to a consensus but did agree that any articles about extensions shouldn't be just for marketing. If you look at what extensions articles we have they're for extensions where we keep getting questions about it or want to share a lot of information about how to customize it. This article is basically just an ad for an extension by the author. That is inappropriate. My first thought was to mark this article with "vote for deletion". However, we do frequently mention relevant extensions when documenting a topic. For example, the mailing lists article has a short paragraph describing an add-on for five useful add-ons and lists a few others in external links. Perhaps the best solution would be for me to write an article about forwarding in general (rather than a specific add-on), and redirect this article to it. The new article might (or might not) include a short paragraph describing this add-on. I'd have to see what relevant add-ons are available and which ones get mentioned most often in the forums. As a minimum it would be listed in external links. Any objections? Tanstaafl 23:20, 6 January 2010 (UTC)
