We may need to add a note about a problem with norton where it hangs when you try to change permissions. see these links for more info: http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?p=2184576#2184576 http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?t=400881 It is very annoying because the users report that this page didn't work, without explaining that norton froze up.

Removed "Some versions of ZoneAlarm have issues with Firefox/Mozilla Suite. Make sure you are using the latest version." What kind of issues? Can anyone be more specific or provide a reference? --AnotherGuest.

Removed "To prevent ZoneAlarm from blocking Firefox again, find Firefox's entry, right click it and select 'Changes Frequently'". This doesn't appear at all on my (free) version of ZA. If ZA actually has this option, then it is necessary to be specific about which version, while still keeping the description as simple as possible. Also, this is not an essential feature, and not necessary for Internet access. --AnotherGuest.

Combine articles?

It was suggested that the three articles we now have about problems loading websites be combined into a single article, to avoid confusion. As this would involve the three articles that are now linked by a 4th Error loading websites article, I started a new discussion there: Talk:Error loading websites. Replace firewall-specific content with a link?

In connection with the proposal to combine this article with the other two on website-loading problems (see above and Talk:Error loading websites): I thought that this article could be shortened by replacing all the information in the "Firewalls" section about specific Firewall programs (after "Here is some firewall-specific information:") with a link to a new Firewalls article. .. Any thoughts? Alice Wyman 14:15, 27 July 2006 (UTC)
