Talk:Accessing your mail from other computers

There seems to be no spam filter when I use a service like Mail2Web to access my Thunderbird email. If I want to get rid of often hundreds of spam messages, I need to delete each one...

My question: Can you eliminate or filter spam when using another computer to access TBird email? 22:32, 19 February 2006 Lesgore

I'm not aware of a way to do that when using a browser and a service such as Mail2Web. Your best bet might be to use a Gmail account and configure the mail fetcher to access the account. Hopefully that would use Gmails spam filters. Your question is best asked in the forums. Tanstaafl 00:45, 29 January 2008 (UTC)

I removed two browser based services after confirming they are dead in http://www.emailaddresses.com/email_rip.htm Tanstaafl 00:45, 29 January 2008 (UTC)
