The dialog "<file> could not be saved, because the source file could not be read." sometimes appears when attempting to download a file using the Mozilla Suite or SeaMonkey. Often, typing about:plugins into the address bar and pressing Enter causes the problem to go away for a while. This problem is described in bug 180672.
