Background

Normally, Mozilla refers to another preference to determine which locale to use. This preference can have it read the locale information from the OS instead.

Possible values and their effects

True

At startup, read and use the OS’s locale.

False

Ignore the OS’s locale and use the value set in general.useragent.locale. (Default)
