Background

Under Mac OS X, loading the list of installed fonts into Mozilla can take a long time. To help mitigate this, the font list is loaded lazily when needed. This preference specifies a list of fonts—specifically, those with localized names—that will be read automatically when Mozilla starts instead.

Possible values and their effects

A comma-delimited list of fonts to load into Mozilla’s internal font list on startup. Default is Hiragino Kaku Gothic Pro,Hiragino Mincho Pro,STSong.
