Currently, there is no "official", precompiled version of Nvu available for the Mac OS X.

There is however, a third party, that has compiled a working version of the current release (0.3, as of the current edit) for the Mac OSX 10.3 "Panther".

A compiled, bzip compressed binary can be found here.

Update:

Nvu 0.70 has been released for the Mac OS X.
